Probably the best expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Cefalù area of Sicily (north of Palermo). This beautiful estate, crowned by an ancient stone abbey, has seen a few difficult years, but thankfully, the vines remain productive. A seductive wine with great class whose colour is dark ruby red, almost impenetrable, consistent, and the nose is elegant with hints of green pepper mixed with apricot and vanilla, and violet notes. In the mouth it immediately expresses its great structure supported by good acidity making it long-lived. Meaty, fruity and elegant, with perfectly smooth and refined tannins, and a harmonious, endlessly persistent finish.
