Sidone Syrah I.G.P. 1.5lt (2023) SIBILIANA VINI

Syrah is considered to be the most “Sicilian” among the international grape varieties. The production region includes Petrosino, Marsala, and Mazara del Go in western Sicily. The Terre Siciliane IGP grape varietal is Syrah. Altitudes vary from 200 to 400 metres, with steep terrain and nutrient-rich clayey soils. This terroir is defined by mild winters and dry, ventilated summers with large temperature changes. The vinification process begins with must fermentation in steel silos (20-25 ºC), followed by six months in steel tanks and one month in bottles before commercialization. Excellent young red wine. Ideal with pasta dishes (tagliatelle with meat sauce, braised meat) and steaks. Best served at 15-16°C.
