The Historia "Il Senatore" Merlot IGT Veneto Orientale is part of the Historia line, which celebrates the rich historical legacy of Moletto, inspired by the influential figures who shaped the region from the 17th to early 20th centuries. Crafted from Merlot grapes, "Il Senatore" is a full-bodied red wine vinified in steel to retain its freshness and structure. The vinification process includes maceration followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, ensuring a smooth and harmonious profile. The wine is matured in steel tanks before bottling, resulting in a deep ruby red hue and an intense bouquet dominated by fruity notes of morello cherry. With an alcohol content of 13.5%, it is best served at 18-20°C.
