Anemone is an up-to-date and youthful interpretation of rosé wine. The brief contact of the must with the skins allows for minimal release of colouring and tannic components, resulting in a light red must with good acidity. This wine develops a broad and captivating array of aromas during fermentation, showcasing a soft, delicate colour with various tones.
It is plush, fresh, and varied on the nose, where the aromas blend to form an exuberant bouquet dominated by violet floral notes and cherry fruitiness.
Anemone is elegant yet lively, offering a relaxed and care-free drinking experience. It is ideal as an aperitif and pairs excellently with light first courses, white meats, and vegetables.
Crafted from a blend of native grape varieties in the Alghero region, the vines are trained using the spurred cordon method, with a density of 4444-4545 vines per hectare. The yield is carefully managed at 10,000 kg per hectare from vines averaging 15 years old.
Winemaking involves quick pressing followed by static cold decanting and fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures. Anemone undergoes a short period of ageing in stainless steel and does not undergo malolactic fermentation, preserving its vibrant acidity.
