This wine rests on the lees for 15-18 days after crushing and de-stemming, followed by ageing of 6 months in French oak barrels. The resulting wine has a dark and intense red ruby colour, its bouquet is a concoction of fragrances including black cherry, chocolate and coffee. In the mouth it is embracing and rich with fruity and smoky notes, plus it is deep and soft with silky tannins. Its finish is long and spicy with a pleasant balsamic touch.
