Poliphonia Reserva Tinto 75cl (2022) MONTE DOS PERDIGÕES

The name "Poliphonia" is given to the top range of wines by Granadeiro in celebration of the musical background of the Perdigões Mount, which was once home to distinguished Portuguese conductor and composer Luís de Freitas Branco. The great appreciation and superb freshness of this wine make it the perfect option for those who like an elegant wine to accompany an inspiring meal. Structured and complex, it shows great potential for long ageing in bottle. The fermentation process takes place in broad but shallow marble tanks to maximise the extraction of tannins and aromas, followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak vats. The wine is then aged for 12 months between vats and Allier oak barrels, resulting in a wine with a deep garnet colour, a very elegant bouquet of forest fruits and spices, and a palate full of volume and fresh, soft tannins.
