Rosamara Valtènesi D.O.C. 37.5cl (2021) COSTARIPA MATTIA VEZZOLA

One of Italy's most prestigious and continuously awarded rosé wines. Produced entirely from local red grape varietals, each individually pressed and of which 50% ferment and age in small oak barrels for at least 6 months. The colour is a perfectly pale candy pink, typical of a delicate wine, and the nose is inviting and ample with hints of mayflower, black cherry and pomegranate. Silky and balanced yet broad and rich, with excellent persistence and flavour, leaving a light aftertaste of bitter almond. This wine has the character of a red wine and the freshness of a white; it can be paired with any dish, from vegetables, to soups, meat or fish, rich or spicy - Rosamara even has an ageing potential up to 4 years!
