The Sagrantino di Montefalco is produced exclusively from Sagrantino grapes. The colour is a very intense ruby red with violet hues, and the bouquet is complex and determined, characterised by strong hints of ripe red fruit, spices, jams, and toast. It is very persistent in the mouth, of great body and structure, warm and soft, and very tannic. This wine is ideal with grilled red meats, game and strong cheeses, and its superb quality means that it can be stored for 15-20 years.
