Tulin Barbaresco D.O.C.G. 75cl (2001) AZIENDA AGRICOLA PELISSERO

The Annata range was renamed as "Tulin" from 2001 after the vineyard where the grapes come from, however, the aspects of the wine remained the same. The climate, soil composition and exposure of the Tulin vineyard are of great value, playing an integral part in the austerity of this wine. Macerated for 15 days, the musts are then passed into wooden casks and left to rest for 18-20 months. Finally 50% is aged in oak casks while the remainder is part aged in barrique for another 9 months. The result is a vivacious ruby coloured wine with a nose that expresses ample and fruity perfumes with minerality, and woody notes. Its taste is typical of Nebbiolo with perfect tannins that give it a velvety an wrapping finish.
